The 2019 International Coffee Day celebration will be held at the Ankole Coffee Producers’ Cooperative Union premises in Kabwohe. The theme of this year’s coffee day is Sustainable Coffee Production through a Cooperative Model and Community Development.
The 8th Inter-University Barista Champion will take place at the Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) from 26 to 27 September 2019. This is the first time the event is being held out of Kampala. Sixteen students from different universities in Uganda will compete for the ultimate prize and have a chance to participate in the National Barista Championship later this year.
